Tarot Card of the Day: Five of Cups

Tarot Card of the Day: Five of Cups using the Universal Waite Tarot Deck.  This card depicts a man wrapped in a cloak, looking down at three cups that have been knocked over.  But, two cups are standing upright behind him.  If you are fearing a loss or regret in your life right now, you may relate to this card, however look closer at this card. The person is so focused on the cups that have been knocked over; he does not notice the two cups standing upright behind him. This fear of loss, which you may be thinking about, may not come to pass.  However if it does, you need not let that stop you from doing what you would like to do in your life. This card symbolizes accepting sorrow or loss in your life, yet also the need to realize that there is hope.  If you have feelings of sadness or loss, allow yourself to go through the healing process and eventually accept the situation.  Also remember to look at the potential hope in your life.  That hope may be close to you, it's just possible that you are not seeing it.
