Tarot Card of the Week: Queen of Pentacles

Tarot Card of the Week: Queen of Pentacles using the Universal Waite Tarot Deck.  This is one of my favorite cards in the deck; it depicts a queen seated on an ornate throne out in nature.  She feels connected with everything around her, and intently stares at the pentacle in her lap.  She feels comfortable in her surroundings, and is aware of the magic in nature around her, and the strength it gives to her.  She joins herself with the forces in the world, and allows them to flow through in her life.

The appearance of the Queen of Pentacles could be indicating that this week is the time to focus on and be content with the positive things you have around you, such as your spirituality or your work, hobbies, etc; to become reacquainted with your surroundings. Or reorganize your home, plan and strategize ways to be more efficient. The Queen of Pentacles has a deep and passionate attachment to nature; spend some time in nature and connecting with it, as it has healing energies and can help with meditation and reflection. Or start thinking about and planning what you want to plant in your garden this spring and summer.  The Queen of Pentacles is asking you to reflect upon her and her energies. This could bring you peace, satisfaction, and enrichment.
